After working for Mick during my entire college career, I consider him a mentor, a friend and somebody who I can look up to. Mick taught me how to be successful on and off the court. He saw my passion for the game and helped me develop my coaching skills by sharing many intricacies of the game he learnt throughout his outstanding career. Despite having a very busy schedule, Mick took time to check in with me periodically; he gave me more responsibilities than I had expected teaching me how to handle everything that comes with it. I will be forever grateful to Mick for the opportunity he gave me and for how he impacted my college experience, volleyball knowledge and life overall.
